6 days old...

What a week! It is startling to look back at the picture from Saturday the 24th and to realize how much life has changed.

On 4/28, we had some visitors, including my friends Michelle, Denise, and Colleen.  Ted the photographer only captured Colleen:

 

On 4/29, we came home from the hospital with Lola:

My mom was there waiting for us, which has been so awesome.  We spent the next couple of days learning a routine and taking approximately 30,000 pictures.

This one is Lola in the eggplant suit my mom made for her - the hat has a stem.  Seriously, cutest baby ever.

By the weekend, we actually felt like we could leave the house and yesterday Ted and I took Lola to the park.  Will post photos of that soon.

Today was first doctor's appointment for Lola - while they didn't say it out loud (apparently would make the other babies jealous), it was clear they also felt she was the most perfect baby ever.  She is almost back to her birth weight and managed to pee all over the exam table as soon as she was naked.  Go Lola!

Anyway, enough baby bragging for now.  If you can't tell, I am pretty head over heels in love with her and am so appreciative and grateful for all the kind words, thoughts, gifts, and love everyone has sent.  Sorry if I haven't gotten back to you, but I will when I can stop gazing at her and smelling her head.
