Lola is officially 7 months old. A few weeks ago she had her 6 month checkup and is healthy and awesome. She measured 27.75 inches long and weighed 15 pounds. That put her at the 95th percentile for length and the 22nd for weight. As usual, everyone who saw her at the doctor's office loved her. Yay Lola!
For Thanksgiving, Ted's parents, Chuck and Darlene, drove up from Los Angeles for a visit. They made it safely through some challenging weather (Portland had an "Arctic Blast" last week with temperatures below freezing for a couple of days). We had a yummy dinner, and the visit was fun. This was the first time Lola has met her paternal grandfather.

As for other Lola news, she is getting very close to crawling and has mastered sitting up. She also has a new best friend - mirror baby. Mirror baby follows Lola to wherever a mirror may be, and she is always welcomed. To create more mirror baby sightings, we got Lola her own crawl-up mirror.
