Ugh.
Today Lola and Lila went to explore the Portland Aquarium (in Milwaukie). It was really cooler than I expected- lizards, frogs, snakes, a touch pool with rays and sharks, jellyfish, seastars, anemones, and opportunities to feed the sharks and fish. Although Lola ended the visit with a pretty grand meltdown ("I don't wanna go! The fish are still hungry"), I'd like to believe this was indicative of the enjoyment of the place. Thanks to Lila and Sonya, and an early happy 3rd birthday to Lila!
