Okay, so I have to start by saying that as a rule I am anti towards branded toys. But today Lola had a great day and we ended it at the dance store getting her some tights and ballet shoes (more on that later). And they had some Olaf toys (the snowman in Frozen). Now, I also have to say that I am, in general, not stoked by Disney films with absurdly shaped female characters, but Frozen made it's way into our home, and in all honesty, while I don't like the female characters' ridiculous proportions and doll-like eyes, it's a pretty catchy movie. And so tonight, it got pretty meta here as Lola watched stuffed Olaf watch animated Olaf. And if I can just let go of my baggage, I can remember that it was just pretty damn cute.
