This weekend we flew to San Jose and drove to Pescadero for Brooke and Josh's wedding (more on that later). It was Lola's first flight and she was awesome! Apparently Southwest Airlines helps you commemorate first flights. I didn't know about it on the way down, but asked on the trip home and, sure enough, they made her a certificate and gave her wings (plus some back-ups for the baby book):
She had a great time on the flight down, a little trouble on the way back, but all in all, we were really proud of her. She napped on both flights, and is apparently pretty good at letting us know when she wants some privacy (note: we are not really a pacifier family, but I heard that the sucking can help clear baby ears when they don't want to eat and it worked like a charm).
