Modeling hats could give you a great deal of fun...

I was thinking of doing another Lola in a cute hat post, and found myself actually reading a link I included in an earlier post, and thought it needed to be revisited.  This may be useful info if you count yourself as one of the 100 million people who will be impacted by the crazy storm of 2011, or are simply thinking of breaking into the fast-paced world of hat modeling.  Really good tips here either way...

"Modeling hats could give you a great deal of fun. However, like modeling fashionable clothes, it requires a particular type of attitude – one that is poised and confident. So, aside from your zest and high-spirit, here are some pointers on sporting hats better:

1. Find out when a hat fits your head perfectly. How do you do that? Here is a simple trick. When you try it out, put it all the way down your head. When you have done it evenly and there is no lump or bump on the top, you have the right size. Be happy. Look happy. Of course, you always have the option to ask for another hat if you feel something is wrong with the one you got. Request politely.

2. Ask “role playing questions” to inspire your modeling stint. Imagine facing a mirror then perk up your attitude by posing these questions:
•Why am I wearing this hat?
•Where am I wearing this?
•How should I wear this boldly?

...If everything else has failed and you are almost giving up, then simply refer to this old aide memoire: It is You, not the Hat."

You're welcome, readers.
