Hard to believe, but Lola is a year old. Not to sound too much like the chorus of Rent, but what an awesome 525,600 minutes! I think I can say with certainty that, after the 12 month evaluation period, this kid's a keeper.
Thanks to everyone for all the sweet birthday wishes - Lola had a great day that included a party at daycare (complete with a cupcake, balloons, and books), dinner of her choice (as determined by the foods she tends to fill both fists with and shove into her mouth), presents, and coconut cake.
On Sunday, we're having a little party in Gabriel Park, complete with bubbles, cupcakes, and beer for the old folk. She's quite a hostess. At least, I hope so, because I am not so good.
We love you little Lolabug.
