Watermelon and pancakes...

We kicked off the weekend with a Friday evening swim (it's our new version of happy hour).  Lola rocked her new watermelon swimsuit (thanks to my mom).  She was manning the wheel, and took her job very seriously.  On Saturday, we headed to a local pancake breakfast supporting the Southwest Community Health Center, a clinic in the village that offers low and sliding-scale cost health care.  It was kind of amazing - Lola was able to sit on her own in a chair and went to town on the pancakes.  It went so well that we went out for breakfast again today.  Lola ate some cheerios and a blueberry bran muffin from home (I baked muffins!), but the lure of pancakes was pretty strong.  We were cameraless, but trust me, a blueberry-smeared baby eating pancakes from both fists is pretty cute...
