Today we went to the Washington County Fair. We saw lots of animals - sheep both with and without their wool, goats galore, bunnies, chickens, and a rooster that crowed right in our face while a lady explained how mean roosters are, in general. This particular one had a note that said, "I bite," on his cage. Noted.
We had a great time - Lola enjoyed fair food, the giant slide with her dad, a "sand"box filled with soft white wheat, and all the animals. We're going to try to make it several fairs in the next month or so, culminating with a planned visit to the Oregon State Fair.
