A day to remember...

Yesterday was Multnomah Day, the annual street fair and parade in our little neighborhood.  Although we moved recently, we are only a mile away from our old house and still in the same neighborhood.  So yesterday we packed ourselves up and hit the village.  We saw horses and goats and chickens and a pig.  There were balloon animals, candy, and the usual somewhat strange parade in which anyone can enter.  That means lots of local politicians, some cool bagpipe bands, and nearby businesses and schools.  A mayoral candidate did cartwheels and another shook hands with Lola.  It was very Portlandia and quite awesome.  It was a day to remember.  Which we'll have to, because we had no camera.

But today, Ted and Lola had breakfast and went to the park, which generated all kinds of cute.  So here you go:

I really love this shot!

  1. OK so I have to know which mayoral candidate was doing cartwheels. I really hope it was Charlie Hales.... that may tip the scales for me in November. I hope Lola gave the non-cartwheeler a piece of her mind... :)
