Happy birthday, USA!

Lola, Ted, and I took a mini vacation to Nehalem and Manzanita for the fourth, enjoying the hospitality of Brookie and her dad.  Manzanita has a great local parade and Paul let us take over his awesome car, packing in the Reuland kids (Henry, Francie, and Maggie), Lola, Oscar, Brooke, me, and Mark (our driver). Afterwards, we enjoyed a great barbecue at Paul's (Brooke's dad) and this morning had some beach time, a great breakfast with great friends, and even a trip home that included a fish hatchery!
