Last night we (Lola, Ted, and I) met up with some great friends (who make great food!) and let our kids mix it up for some trick or treating. As a hermit, I have been greatly helped in approaching these times by my awesome family and this time they were totally right. It was a blast-10 parents (or soon to be parents) and 7 kids. Brookie couldn't make it because apparently having a newborn is "hard." (I kid, I kid)...
I'm sure Ted has great pics that I'll add soon, but we had a blast. The rain even stopped within minutes of us heading out for candy hunting!
Thanks to great friends, a flat easy-walking neighborhood, and joys of parenthood I really never considered.
