A party to remember!

Today, Lola got her almost-5th birthday groove on with many of her friends at Pump it up, the inflatable wonderland for the under-8 set. We were stoked that many of her school friends could attend, along with Oskie (Brooke's son, now 3) and Gus and Greta (Michelle's twins, now 2.5). They played and bounced and climbed and slid to their hearts content before a lunch of pizza and cupcakes (hey, I offered up some carrots and apples!). What an exciting day. It's just thrilling to see our little girl becoming less little. Five years ago, right now, I was being sent home to wait because my labor wasn't progressing. And today, well, today there's this person in the world named Lola. I am so grateful to have been her conduit to pizza and cupcakes.
