Birthday Party #2
On Sunday, May 1, we ordered up some beautiful spring weather for a little party in Gabriel Park, and Portland delivered! My friend and colleague Liz made sock monkey cupcakes, and there were a few snacks, a lot of bubbles, and awesome friends. Lola's Aunt Brookie even came down from Seattle. It was really fun, and I am so grateful to everyone who came - I realize birthday parties at this age are far more for the parents than the kids, but watching Henry and Camden (two partying 6 year olds) with the "Billion Bubbles" machine just whetted my appetite for the fun we have in store.
