Last year on Mother's Day, Lola was about 2 weeks old. Ted put her in an "I love mom" onesie, and we hung out on the back deck. A great day was had by all. Amazing to contrast the little wiggly Lola lump of last year to the active, talking, almost-walking, 4-toothed Lola person I got to celebrate with today.

My request (the same request I make for any special day) was to sleep in, and while I did so, Ted and Lola collaborated on the best (and possibly biggest) Mother's Day card around. Sleep was had, presents were given, and I had an awesome day with the two people responsible for me entering this state of motherhood.
