Happy holiday indeed...

Lola, Ted, and I traveled to Reno for Zive Christmas.  We had a blast, and Lola had a pretty awesome first Christmas.  She crawplored  (crawling and exploring - use the word now and be sure to start a trend) the entire house, and encountered steps that she mastered in no time.  Genius baby.  If you know (or know of) my mother's gift giving prowess, you would not be shocked to know that Lola was well-gifted.  Toys, books, clothes, and extra special pajamas (a Zive tradition) were well represented.  Ted's parents also sent some awesome gifts, including Jumbles, which are blocks that look like molecules and are very chewable, and a wonderful book that Lola loves.

After Christmas morning with Mom and Dad and a good nap, we headed to my Aunt Kristy and Uncle Phil's house.  There Lola got to meet more Zives, including my aunt Toni Anne, who was smitten with the Lolabug.  My cousin Hannah was there with her husband Nick and their 15 month old son, Landon.  It was really fun to see them play together.  Although naptime wasn't too successful, Lola still had a blast, especially during hat modeling (my mom made hats for the entire crew), and pureed carrot throwing, in which, if made an Olympic sport, Lola is sure to take home a medal.  Also, Lola got to meet Turner, who is far more successful when it comes to cleaning Lola's face than am I...perhaps our loyal readers will soon hear about a puppy for Lola?

As Lola is often crawling away from us, these pajamas will help us identify her in a crowd...

Lola: "Is all this for me?"
Me: "Yes."

Landon and Lola are thinking of starting a band.  Check back for tour schedules.

The whole crew in our University of Nevada hats (thanks Mom!)

You know what would make this spoon even better?

Carrots!

All clean!
